Entity Formation

If you’re ready to start your business and don’t want to hassle with the paperwork, forms, communications, and other rigmarole required by the Secretary of State, I offer a few options, so you don’t have to sweat the small stuff. Rather, you can focus your time on your business’s other start-up needs and day-to-day operations.

step 1 - make your choice

What will it be? General partnership, sole prop, S Corp, C Corp, LLC, PLLC, LLP, B Corp, non-profit? Check out my free downloads on entities as the true first step. Then, I highly recommend scheduling a consultation. I offer a 1-hour consult for $100 to help you make the entity choice. If you work with me for step two, we will credit your $100 towards the fees below.

step 2 - form the entity & complete the other legal steps

So you made your choice. Now, it’s time to form your business entity. Obviously, your first choice is to go it alone. If you want some professional assistance, I offer two options. Check out my DIY Plan below, as well as my "Hire a Pro" options for specifics on rates. As you will see, these services include other requirements like the EIN and local business licenses.

Step 3 - ongoing compliance

After you form your business entity, it’s your responsibility to meet other legal requirements like the “statement of information,” franchise tax payments, income tax returns, as well as other local requirements. You may need a fictitious business license. I can assist with those as well. Entity formation clients will receive updates on important deadlines.

Client review

"I was referred to Braden from my best friend and initially contacted him in regards to starting my own business. He is very flexible with scheduling! During our two hour meeting, he clearly went over all steps and questions I had in regards to starting my wedding/event planning business. About three weeks later, my business was up and running! He also followed up with me a few weeks later to check on the status of my business, which is great costumer service! Thanks again Braden!" - Sheena
